I have delivered on-site and remote sessions, including 1-on-1 scripting training, and bespoke mentoring.
It's difficult to engage with new customers until you are speaking the same language.
Giving your key users Admin Training will enable them to start talking the same language.
Accelerate the delivery and deployment of PLM by all being on the same page!
At Autodesk I wrote and delivered admin courses across multiple industries.
For Newbies, we focus on knowning "enough".
Enough to write very basic scripts, and be able to copy/paste examples.
We focus on troubleshooting existing scripts, and solving simple problems.
Enough to give them confidence to support day-to-day issues themselves, and lose their fear.
Ideal for some with a little starting knowledge.
We focus on writing "better" scripts - more supportable, more manageable.
We cover advanced features based on their abilities.
The objective is to leave students confident, but knowing their limits.
We learn the ReST basics, Postman etc.
We focus on designing integration that is robust, and supportable, not just "clever".
This is usually followed by mentoring as needed.
However, we often find customers decide that actually integration is beyond their abilties, and they engage a Partner.
But good to discover that on a course, not later.
This is ad-hoc mentoring for students that have been on a course.
We cover extra material as they need, and it's good to deliver this wih the same trainer.
I have much experience mentoring, from nervous administrators, to developer-level Partners.
I wrote all such courses at Autodesk.
Giving training is fascinating - the side discussions are really engaging as the customer starts to really get to grips with the future potential.
I have written and delivered training to users, administrators, Partners, and others.
I always have positive feedback from my training, and really enjoy it.
